Castle Spool and JunkYard Forts

Hope to finish the jungle fort and get a good start on the Castle Spool.

i kinda like it this way. you have to stay on your toes because if someone gets in close then you are screwed..

There are plans to add a center structure but we haven't had the time of amount of people to get everything done yet. It is a work in progress

Inside the junkyard fort, there really isn't anything you can do once somebody gets inside the fort. In the church, people can safely hunker down in the tower or the pill box and at least have a fighting chance. In the Junkyard fort, once an enemy runs inside the fort, all hell breaks loose. I think a good addition would be something inside the fort that gives the defenders some way of resisting against people AFTER they have entered the fort, but haven't cleared it...Similar to the pill box and the tower in the church. Maybe some doors on the entrances and a door on the 2 towers in the junkyard fort? It felt like I was standing in one of the village towers without any walls on it when someone came into the junkyard fort...There's just nowhere to go once someone gets inside except spray and pray

Also the ramps need some roofing shingles on them because that's dangerous. I slipped while walking down from the tower while doing a chrono check on somebody and almost ripped the guardrail on the bottom of the ramp right out when i hit it.

We got most of it done. It just needs small things and Im pretty sure Norm is finishing it up tonight.

this is a crazy fort.. i hope you guys finished it after i left.

anyone that can go help it would be great. Some of the stuff is heavy and needs a 2nd, 3rd, 4th person. The picture doesn't even give you an idea of the size of this thing. It will be a HUGE addition to the field.

yep - You'll see some builing supplies at the end, and the old four wheeler trail opened up and has been used.

You can't miss the new fort.

What time would you like me to be there and where do you want to meet?

I cant wait to see this in person. I am very excited!!! Are there going to be windows and maybe a way to look over the top of it? Just a few thoughts, not sure you are going to let it all out of the bag. I might have to stop by and check this out!
