Here it is!!

TEAM 51 is proud to announce the District 9 scenario. The team has been working hard to create a fun scenario with plenty of action. We are starting to gear up for this event and are looking forward to a great day. We have put in a word for good weather (what weather isn’t good for paintball) and are asking that you come and join us on August 14th at Field 51. Feel free to bring a friend too. We look forward to seeing you there.

I might go...

I was watching the movie and the whole time I was thinking "Wow this movie sucks but it would make for a really good scenario game!!"

no such luck, didnt show up in the mail.

I changed my plans a bit though.. After talking to some machinists on mcarterbrown.com someone brought up the point that the bolt on the SL seals into the back of the barrel. If there was a freak insert there, then it would pull it out of the barrel, into the body.

The same person told me that the inserts on an A5 freak barrel do no go into the back, you have to screw the barrel apart to slip in the inserts. This would prevent the bolt from pulling the insert out of the barrel.

So I found a new A5 freak barrel for $35 and was going to have a machine shop in standish machine it down on a lathe to fit the SL. I was hoping to get that today, but no luck. Gonna have to wait till next game day.

Feel free to bring a radio if you want. I have found them very useful in the past. Their will be restricted channels for field use and we do NOT encourage spying on the other teams frecs. Not cool

Other than that feel free

See you tomorrow

Good morning boys and girls. It is time to get out of bed. You have a big day ahead of you. Start to get your toys together and have some breakfast because you are going to be a buys person today. I'm on my way to the field and I hope to see you soon.

Going to be a he'll of a day for paintball at field 51 Twisted Evil

Well I can only report from the side lines on this one.

From the feedback I got from everyone looks like everyone had a blast.

Thanks to Team 51 for writing and hosting the Dist. 9 event!!

And thanks to everyone for bringing their best to the field to make today such a great event.

I'll be posting the next events to the calendar soon
(the walk on game line up is getting mixed up - starting to seem a little stale lately so expect to see some changes on your next visit)

On behalf of the team I would like to thank all those that were able to come to the game. It was an awsome day for the event and the game play was constant. Well played by both teams.

Thanks again

Ahhhh yeeeaaaah! The momentum swung back and forth throughout the day.
Thanks for coming and shooting each other up.

The awesome move of the day was during the game after lunch. Yellow had moved in on orange's right and were dug in very well. They were moments away from a push into the Lab to get the canister when orange swooped in behind them and took out most of the advancing yellow. The best woodsball moves I've seen in a long time. Yellow was cool and methodical but orange sneaky and vengeful and did what needed to be done.

The tactical move of the day was yellow preventing orange from getting Frankie and getting the pod into the mother ship and keeping it there. If both of those didn't happen Orange would have won. Orange came close, but yellow kept going hard all the way to the end. Excellent maneuvers.

We'll see you out in the woods again soon!
