Can the barrel be changed?
Will there be hammer heads available?
Can I hook up a tank? asa?
Can I use 12grams?
does it have an auto-trigger?
Whats the weight? (like i really care)
Are there any other questions I haven't asked?

I have my old SL-68 pump if you'd like to try one out, not a lot of changes, see the video -

I used one of Norm's old SL-68's during th epump day it was great. cheers smooth pump action, shot straight, and after about an hour I figured out the auto trigger it was cool! scratch study lol! asa for air setup, and i really didn't mind teh weight, even with a standard hopper. try one you'll like it!

Dont know if you are still interested seeing how old this thread is, but here it is

The older SL 68II weighs 2lb 2oz stock with nothing on it. The barrels are change able and a few older companies still have them available. J&J make a ceramic one and PPS makes this one http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_34&products_id=1114&zenid=sqp684mtnj24crk5as4sqnntk7

Tippmann currently has no barrels for the SL-68 II

They have the ASA in the bottom of the handle, standard thread for normal CO2 tanks, would require an adapter for a 12gram

And yes it has an auto trigger, just hold the trigger and pump. I have 5 of the original SL-68 II's if you would like to try one.

What thread is the barrel of the new SL-68II? Mainly interested in getting a better paint-to-barrel match. Like a .682 seems to fit paint better now-a-days.

I do not believe the new barrels are threaded either. they are 'squeeze' fit. There is an allen screw under the barrel at the front of the body, if you loosen it the barrel will slip out. I have heard of people having the threads removed from a standard barrel and wrapping the threads in tape, both with success. But it would probably depend on the barrel of which method would work.
