| Im just curious but how hard is it to convert a 3000 psi only fill, to a 4500psi fill. i remember norm said that it was possible to make his setup fill to 4500 psi(if i heard him correctly) is there a reason that he doesnt? like is it not good for the setup or something, would it need a booster or something? im just trying to understand why some fields only fill to 3000psi and not a full 4500psi. im starting to regret buying a 4500 psi tank when know one can fill it all the way. | |

The fill stations can do 4500psi , it's a user issue... Due to the "self fill" stations we don't have to worry about a 3000psi tank owner plugging into the 4500psi fill station if all the stations are set to 3000psi. I personally would never buy a 3000psi tank for several reasons; less stress on my tank when only filling to 3000 and the rare chance that I go off to an away game and they have 4500 fills... Plus I have a booster at home (doesn't everyone).

| Oh ok. I get it so its not that hard to switch over. Well here's another question.... don't the 3000psi tanks have a failsafe so u don't over fill? If so then all he'd need todo was put a sign out that says watch ur fill pressure, people should do that anyway. I'm sure I'm not the only guy there who has a 4500 tank. I would just like to fill it all the way. I'm sure most people know how to use a fill station anyway if not then its a simple leason. But that's just me half ranting that I can't fill my tank all the way lol. | |

Every time that "Fail Safe" blows, the burst disk, you need to replace it. All his rental tanks are 3000psi steel tanks and most of the people that use his rentals are new to the sport and are having all they can do to remember all the items in the safety talk let alone read a sign for which tank hose to use for fills. I can fill my 68/4500 to 3000psi, carry 4 Dye Pods at 160 rounds (advertised) each, 200 rounds in my Dye Rotor and that tank will shoot it all. Now that Norm has a fill station out on the filed I see no reason to have a higher PSI fill.

| Also, keep in mind that at fields that do fill to 4500psi,they(mostly) do not allow self-serve, so standing in line at scenarios(sometimes) can be a pain in the butt... And all my tanks but one(raffle prize 62cu 3k) are 4500 and I get plenty of shots off 68/4500 or 90/4500 at 3000psi | |

I know that it isn't an issue for some , but I would love to have a set up available for a person like me with an air hog marker......A fill station like that would just have to be set off to the side kinda like at bennots....i dunno i just really want a 4500 fill

| what if you kept the 4500 fill station not a self fill, and then charge people 5 bucks to get it filled... i dont see a point in needing more than 3000 psi with a fill station right next to the field now, but itd be nice to have a full 4500 on days when im NOT playing at field51. | |

| I understand what you are saying about the PSI but with the new fill stations right at the second setup area you can refill to 3000 in about 15 seconds. If you wanted 4500 you would have to walk all the way back, get it filled, then walk all the way out to the field again to play. Maybe I am just fat, but 15 seconds seems better than 10 minutes of walking when I have been running around all day. | |

| There should just be a self fill station that fills 4500 PSI. There is always someone around the counter for the most part and I think that it could be that persons job to make sure that the newbies do not overfill. I dunno about everyone else but I shoot enough paint in one game, especially the church attack/defend games to warrant a 4500 fill. I just want it but do not really care over much either way, I will always play there. On a side note Norm should get the new pics up!!! | |
