Bring Your Own Paint Day Empty
PostSubject: Bring Your Own Paint Day   Bring Your Own Paint Day I_icon_minitimeThu May 21, 2009 11:41 am

The end of June we're going to have a BYOP day.

This is a test, if it goes well there will be more of them.

And by well, I mean no rock hard old paint from last season, no mosterballs, and the like.

Save the crap paint for shooting cans at home!

If I find a person using such paint, they will be asked to leave, and will not be allowed back on the BYOP days.

will you still have paint available for purchase on the BYOP day?
(just in case I can't find decent paint somewhere)

Oh ya - we'll have paint on hand.

If you're going to buy paint anyways... why not here?

cheers

any chance you'll ever have black paint (do they even make it) I was thinking that would be great for 6/20 Sam's B party, however unlikely it is that I'd even get a shot at him, black paint would seem to be very appropriate lol! Black probably a bad color for marking but theme wise I think it would be fun. Just thought I'd ask that typical silly geek question. see ya soon. alien monkey pig Rufus & Mud_Weasle

If I did not have any spare paint to bring to BYOP Day and needed some I would get it at the field. No offense to Mal-Wart but if they miss out on a sale of paint I don't think they will close their doors.

From my experiences; Norms paint is much fresher and he has priced his paint to be inline with the big box stores. He may have some higher prices boxes but he also has the low priced paint to keep everyone happy.

Last I knew Mal-Wart was not opening any paint ball fields, so please help support our local field.

Team51 has used the Nelson red paint in the past at events - It freaks out the other players, and we always know who we've tagged out Smile

On the killer paint - They had an add that showed someone holding a marker standing over a dead body in a pool of blood.

I sent them an e-mail, asking what were they thinking???
Losts of fields gave them crap over it.
I haven't seem the add anywhere since.

We've used it once on the field for a halloween party.

The vampire team used red,
the zombies used green,
and the humans used a hunter orange.

Sweet game.

Nope to much work to bring in stock of three colors.
We will be having the creep show again however.

Any ways back to BYOP - make sure it is NOT older than dirt, not moster balls........

Bring Your Own Paint Day Box_murder

Just... Wow... This is where the misconceptions surrounding the game of paintball originate.

Wal-Mart paint is no fun. That paint's for backyard games, not play days at the local field. I like paying less as much as the next guy, but when I'm at a field to play, I want to know my paint shoots well, breaks well, and that everyone's having fun.

Bring Your Own Paint Day Empty
PostSubject: Who all is coming Sunday??   Bring Your Own Paint Day I_icon_minitimeThu Jun 25, 2009 7:42 pm

Some of the guys from NH are showing up -
Here is a note I got:
"We got rained out on Father's Day so maybe we can try to play this Sunday. Field 51 is a great place to play if you haven't been and the owner, Norm, puts on a great time. Also, this is BYOP so that will save some money too. Field fee is a low $15 and includes all day air/CO2, can't beat that. If anyone would like to carpool to save on gas or just to enjoy some company let it be known and we can all make some plans."

And there is talk about a few of the guys from M Carter Brown forums showing as well.

How about you??

If your coming this week end (Sunday's BYOP)- post and let everyone know.

Looks like summer may happen after all cheers
