I have some money from graduation, and I'd like to get my hands on a kayak.
I've been a few times, and I'd like to go a lot this summer before I go off to college.

I'm guessing you are looking for a Recreational boat, something around 9 ft. length and 26-30 inches wide...? What kind of paddling are you doing? How/if it will be transported? Do you own a paddle, or looking to buy with boat? PFD?(personal floatation device) If you need a paddle you'll not want anything over 200cm for a Rec. boat...I used to sell all this stuff, let me know what you want, I may know where to find it inexpensively...

Yeah, rec for sure. I have no clue as to what size I'd need. It'll be transported on a roof rack. (I have acess to a FJ cruiser.) I'll need everything.

I'll be at the field Wed.s, stop by and we can discuss what you'll need.

I would say a 9' or 10' would work also. They have foam pads you can use so you don't have to drop the cash on racks
