WE have an A5, with a spyder adaptor collar but it always seems a quarter turn loose, we have a milsim barrel with shroud and front sight but with the quarter turn it is kinda sloppy. anyone had this happen or have a quick fix. thank you in advance, look forward to sharing paint soon. ]

If I follow correctly, you can get the barrel tight but the shroud is not lined up right?
Most of the barrels I've seen with shrouds have set screws so you can align them after the barrel is tight.
Hope this is a little helpful.

It may be the two front hex screws that hold your A5 body's clam shell together are loose. Try tightening them up and see if that helps hold your adapter tighter.

Either the front two screws are loose, as Looper suggested, or the screw by the rear sight is too tight. Sometimes the two shells of the body casing don't fit perfectly together, and there is a slight bend in the middle. If you don't tighten the shells evenly, one end will be held apart slightly. Try loosening the rear screw a bit, and see if it doesn't solve the problem. If it doesn't, you may need to look into shimming the casing for the adapter with something. I wouldn't suggest that however, as it could be harmful to the marker.

Thank you for the suggestions, tried the screw adjustments with little success so we shimmed with a layer of electrical tape seems to hold, my son is happy with it for now and also very appreciative thank you Looper, IGG, & Norm

Glad it worked out, and thanks for the cool building supplies for the Junk-Yard Fort,.

How are you making out on a replacement gage for that new tank?? Or do you still need to send it back?

Glad to hear it. I may just use that electrical tape trick in the future.

Slightly off topic, but Norm, if you need any more junk for the junk yard, there is a whole bunch of stuff down at the shop I work at. A lot of it is scrap metal (screen doors, engine panels) but there are a lot of pallets as well. The "inventory" is week to week, but let me know if you're interested.

As long has it's safe. And by that, I mean, no sharp edges, no oils or chemicals.
And it would need to be something we could make something cool from Smile

Pallets..... I'm trying to lean away from them. They made for quick and easy bunks to get started with, but I'd like to see better for the field.
Bunkers that look and feel like - Tanks, Planes, Helos, and building are going to be much for fun.

Thanks!!!

No problem. I'll see what I can find for vehicles and sheet metal for walls. I get where you're coming from with the pallets, the field could use some original environment. I was just told I may be able to contribute an old snowmobile for a bunker if nothing else. That might look cool. It's yellow though...

Do you know anyone who could transport 'em?? and Yes I'm that kinda guy, me and Dar are duds from way back. I'm the one who doesn't know everything but knows everyone, which usually is better for me, I just make the introductions I know some folks with a wrecker service flatbed too, if we need to haul 'em, are they worth paying for (paying for transport) shouldn't cost to get the tires (I think??

Cool - How big are these things??

I have a trail at a friends house - hoping to get some slab wood for the Castle Spool, if it's big enough I could use it to move these.

How far a drive is it in miles from the field??

Again thanks.
