Attempted Theft

Last night we had an attempted theft at our house. Paintball gear was removed from our house and put out in the driveway like they were gonna try to gather as much stuff as they could carry with them and take off with it.

I've done inventory several times and it seems nothing was stolen. Its just a sickening eye opener to see our door wide open at night and a bunch of our stuff out in the driveway.

I just want to remind everyone to keep your stuff secure when not in use. We all work and save too hard to get the stuff we got to play these fun games. Don't let negligence ruin your day. Take that extra step to keep it yours. Watch out for your friend's stuff. Watch out for your fellow paintballer's stuff. Question any local sales of stuff that seems too good to be true. Ask the guy/girl/kid where he plays, how long, how he got the stuff. We're a tight knit community. Everyone knows someone in paintball. Be proud and don't buy obvious 'hot' items.

i never really thought this would happen around here but this is an eye opener

Maybe they were helper gnomes trying to fix your markers and you scared them off before they finished their work.

Seriously though, having stuff taken from your house is the worst feeling. And if they went for paintball stuff only (assuming that's what happened) it's probably someone that you know and knows where you keep your stuff. Good idea to have pictures and serial numbers of all your guns and possibly add them to homeowners insurance just in case.
