PostSubject: Check Your Tanks Often!!!   Check Your Tanks Often!!! I_icon_minitimeThu Oct 29, 2009 7:16 pm

Just about an hour ago I was looking my tank over and noticed what appeared at first to be some hair. After inspecting it closer and running my finger over it I realized that it was a crack. I followed the crack and it turns out it goes in a complete circle around the neck. I looked the tank over some more and found another smaller crack at the bottom. It looks like I'm either going to have to get a new tank or rehydro this one just to be safe. So, remember to always check your tank at frequent intervals -like before and after play days or every week or two- because you might just spot a problem before it's too late! Nobody wants a hunk of metal, wrapped or not, to be flying at their head.

We'll have Norm and Shawn look at it. They have seen way more tanks than us...but it does look like a fatigue fracture around the reg neck.

If you own an Action Village - AVI tank check it out thoroughly!!

Norm, sending you PM.
