| I'm looking into getting a pump gun.. So tell me what you'd recommend, what do you like about it, what don't you like about it? what are the specs.. weight, barrel length/distance, ammo capacity, etc...? and most importantly, whats it cost?!? .. | |

| I have used the tippman sl68 that always works great easy to mantain. About 160-180ish I think. New that is. I'm not sure About the barrel or other specs.
Another pump I like is the autococker if u like to customize your markers you can't go wrong can get some good deals on used autocockers many barrel options. Price about 80 ++ as much as u want to upgrade it pump kits are a wide varitey prices from 20-100+ for pump kits. Good luck hope this helps out.

| My 2 favorite pumps are either a phantom express or one of the original carter comps. Yes im from the old days, but the phantom is quite, efficient, and very interchangable(customized to what you want). The comps....well there through the roof price wise, IM not sure about the newer ones, but the old ones were a beast in the woods. Im still waiting to hear from a old friend about selling me his comp(its 20 years old and still mint). | |

| haha yeah just looked up the Carter machines, they run about $600, so i think i'll pass on those, a phantom will definately be considered though | |

| The SL-68 II's are pretty much bullet proof. and with the revamped feedneck, just about perfect.
Not very customizable, but there are barrels here and there, now that they are in production again. But in my opinion, they don't need any customizing. Though there is someone on MCB who has a good rep and makes a barrel with a control bore. This stops roll outs and increases velocity (and therefore efficiency) significantly with smaller paints.

| What kind of pump are you looking for? some thing new or old school, stock or open class, price range, custom or run of the mill, things like that need to be considered. | |

| It's the same thing as any other entry level sniper. I would buy a used custom built sniper for less if I were you.
Also, Azodin pump are great little markers. To be honest you can't go wrong with anything in that price range.

Yes, it's a fine pump with a nice pump stroke and shoots well. Only downsides (depending on who you ask) are it's double trigger and no AT.
