Tippmann 98 + extras

I've got a tippmann 98 that I dropped off at the field earlier today. It's all decked out to look like an M-16. I've had it a few years but I only used it a couple times. It looks brand new. Upgrades include a response trigger, new grips, M-16 barrel, solid butt stock, and raised sight rail. I've put about $550 into it and am asking $350 OBO. Stop by field 51 to check it out. not to be a debbie downer or anything, but i doubt your gonna get that much, i just spent the past 3 weeks trying to sell my A5 with a bunch of extras, my final price ended up being 175, and people told me i was lucky i got that.. good luck though man

Any idea what it is worth then? I've been out of the sport for a couple years so I'm guessing prices for used markers has gone down.

I would say right around 100...

The last time I checked a stock used 98 would sell for $100. And usually none of those looked anywhere near as good as this one. I'll admit it might not be worth what I'm asking but I know its worth well over $100.

what do u have for mods? do you have a picture? btw the blue book on a 98 custom MINT condition is only $75, and the m16 look is pretty overdone

It has a response trigger, new grips, M-16 barrel, solid butt stock, magizine front grip, and carry handle. the only flaw I could find was that the paint had bubbled slightly around the front sight of the marker. I also have all the unused stock parts, paperwork, and box it came in. I don't have a picture anymore.

yeah id say 100 maybe 125 if your lucky... its a bummer but thats the market for you

Any given item is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it... I bought a stock Tippmann 98 off someone at school for $30 and auctioned it on ebay for $55, On the other hand I sold a slightly up'd T98c to some kid down the road for $85. I have a t98c pro with a nice stock (Not one of the cheap $40 ones) and a barrel and all the "Stock up's" that come with the "pro" version and someone at school offered me $200 for it.

Alright I've been looking around and from what I've seen $200 would be a fair price for it. So If anyones interested I'll take $200 firm.
